Wii U Sold Out on Black Friday
Nintendo’s new system is already being sold out only days after launch. It seems the Wii U is having no problem selling units. While most stores “technically” sold out of the Wii U months ago with pre-orders, most stores did keep some systems in stock until black friday. If you got a Wii U system on black friday you were lucky cause they’re pretty much sold out everywhere.
It looks like the Wii U is in very high demand for this holiday season. There’s been estimations that if you haven’t gotten a Wii U by now that you won’t be able to get one until march. Unless you pay a premium price for the system on online auction stores.
Let’s take a look at the Wii U for what it is. The Wii U obviously has better hardware than the Wii. Taking a look at some of the early launch games Super Mario Bros. U seems like the Mario 2D platform game you know and love. ZombieU definitely looks like an interesting zombie video game. With the better hardware Nintendo can finally have some of the better looking games on their system like Assassin’s Creed III.
Anyways the system definitely seems to be a hit with consumers. Being the first 8th generation console to the market gave it some leeway as the first major game system released in several years. I’d have to say the Wii U looks like it has a lot of potential, let’s see how it goes from here.
